DAVID DRURY admits limits of FL. STATE software testing.

FEB. 7, 2007: Thanks to the now notorious 18,000 missing votes from Sarasota FL-13 CD election, and more recently Florida Governor Charlie Christ’s proposal to dump paperless D.R.E.’s throughout the state, previously State and local Election Officials e-voting advocates/ benefactors are now scrambling to certify and implement a different voting system before 2008.

Here, DAVID DRURY, (Chief/ Florida Bureau of Voting Systems and Ceritification and Director of Testing for the Sarasota Audit) answers a question from one of the panel members.

Citing the Harri Hursti report, the board member asks Drury what security testing is done by the State during the certification process…

  1. Holy shit, leonard. This two minutes of video is proof that they don’t give a shit if the vote is accurate. Good catch!

  2. In other words Drury is saying Florida law just requires certified machines… not hack proof machines!!!!
    So what we got was super hackable machines which passed their pathetic certification requirnments.
