Nokia N95 Problem

It is acting as if a button is stuck but i have removed the housing and this is not so. I believe it is a software problem. It was sent back to 02, who updated it to the very latest firmware but the problem is still there. anyone else experiencing such problems?

hey dude, thanks for your concern. when 3G coverage is available, it shows that icon, with dashed arrows underneath it. When it is sending of receiving stuff, it flashes and turns solid. as far as i am aware it isn’t sending or receiving anything it shouldn’t be, and even in offline mode (all radios turned off) it still keeps acting up.

thanks for your advise mate, i’m gunna give that a try right now. I’ll report back in around an hour.

I just annoyed that i took it in for repair at 02, and less than 24 hours later it starts playing up again… :(

Had the same problem with mine took it to a phone shop an they wanted £35 to update the hardware an if that didnt fix it, it would have been anothr £40 to get a new ribbon.

    Glad I didnt.

Now I fixed mine by takin out the memory card and copying what I needed to the PC using a memory card reader NOT the phone. Then format the mem card. Now do the same with the phone by hard reseting it and it shoud be fixed.

your 3g web navigation is active, did you start it? be careful, you can have a surprise at your next bill.

it`s the icon at the top left corner, below the place where it is written “3G”
